The corporate category will be for teams of six paddlers. Workmates, friends or family, how you get your team together is up to you. No experience is necessary and you will be provided with a guide, a boat and all the relevant safety and comfort equipment.
Racing on the Saturday 27th will be on the River Tay and will be open to 30 teams competing in 6 races of five boats. The section of river run will be from Church pool to Fishermans hole, approximately 1.5 miles.
Winners of each heat on the Saturday will then progress to the final on the Sunday where racing will be on the River Tummel.
Teams will start below the Clunie Dam at five minute intervals and will get themselves downstream to the Coronation Bridge (about 3 miles) as quickly as possible in a race against the clock. From below the Coronation Bridge you will make your way through the remaining rapids at a more leisurely pace.
Included will be all equipment and guide costs as well as first prize of £300.
